Studies, surveys and reports by or commissioned by the Harlem Development Corporation to support economic development and urban renewal proposals for Harlem, New York City. The reports include economic surveys and development plans, several studies on a proposed Internatonal Trade Center in Harlem (later called Third World Trade Center), demographic studies and opinion surveys. There are also reports on gentrification, brownstone rehabilitation, residential and commercial buildings, streetscapes and the Harlem piers and waterfront. A few of the authors of the reports in addition to the HUDC are: Louis Harris & Associates, Kenneth B. Clark Assiciates, Ron Wiggington/Land for Public Spaces, and Cooper, Eckstut Associates.
